mSORB 4A-NG is a sodium type A zeolite bead, Interra Global's natural gas grade of 4A molecular sieve. Its nominal 4 angstrom pore opening admits water and other small molecules, and the grade is formulated for natural gas dehydration where high water capacity and low pressure drop are wanted. The beads combine high mass transfer efficiency with the durability to hold up through repeated adsorption and regeneration cycles, and the material is thermally stable at very high temperatures. It is the high-capacity grade of Interra Global's two natural gas molecular sieves and the one usually chosen for LNG service, where the feed gas has typically been treated for acid gas before it reaches the dehydration unit. mSORB 3A-NG is the selective grade, chosen where carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, or heavier hydrocarbons remain in the gas or where limited regeneration heat matters, and the natural gas dehydration page sets out the choice between them. Chemical Formula: Na₁₂[(AlO₂)₁₂(SiO₂)₁₂]·nH₂O TYPICAL APPLICATIONS Where a 4A molecular sieve is preferred, mSORB 4A-NG is typically used for:
